If you ever encounter the situation where you can choose to be another object, think ahead. Many things are lucky enough to have a second life after death. Here I will suggest 6 good prospects for increasing your chances of a second life. I will try my best to rank these by likely hood to successfully obtain a second life, but be aware I have not done any statistics on the following:

  1. Water - Very Likely - Water will rain down, evaporate up and rain again. Or live in a large body of water forever. I rank water as a very good prospect and should be at the top of your list as well.
  2. Wood - Fairly Likely - Even when the forests are leveled, most wood is taken to be cut up into lumber or some other type of substance like paper. Unless a tree just rots it will be reused.
  3. Paper - Likely - Recycling is becoming ever so popular, and we here at utawk encourage recycling. Paper is a very good candidate for recycling and you would be likely to turn into paper possibly several times. I rank this 3 since it is according to your local recycling habits and programs.
  4. Plastic - Likely - Plastic is a great candidate for recycling, although it suffers from the same as paper for our rankings. If you’re geographical location is into recycling, this may be a great candidate.
  5. Corn - Semi Likely - Well as you all know corn can survive in a few ways. Thats right! It is now being used to produce alternative fuel sources.
  6. Peanuts - Semi Likely - As we all know peanuts, no matter how well they are ground up always seem to escape the digestive track and go on to live another wonderful life. This achieved the lower ranking however due to the popularity of boiled peanuts over roasted peanuts. Look for these to increase in ranking in the winter after the fresh harvests are gone!

Sure the list is apt to change and is up for debate, but I don’t see how there is much debating such a fine list of prospects. Please leave your thoughts below.
